About the role
Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise, assisting with product demonstrations, and preparing proposals. This role works closely with senior engineers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyse problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member. Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations.

Support the development of customized solutions based on client needs in the area/customers of responsibility.

Process the orders so Order entry people can transfer the order to factories.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility of proposals.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Skills & Qualifications

Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.

Strong interest in technology and sales.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
