About the role
This role leads the Field Service & Engineering organization with full responsibility for the planning, execution, and documentation of field jobs, services, and projects. The position ensures delivery in line with defined scope, timelines, and budgets, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
By leading the local center of competence, the role strengthens regional capabilities, reduces reliance on global mobilization, shortens response times, and ultimately enhances customer satisfaction and profitable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead global field service execution, including outages, overhauls, inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Own global service performance, covering safety, quality, schedule adherence, cost, margins, and customer satisfaction

Drive the regionalization of field services by developing local skills, certifications, tools, and standardized execution practices

Define and implement the regional field service operating model in line with global policies and standards

Act as the primary customer interface during service execution and support Sales & Tendering with execution concepts, feasibility reviews, and cost inputs

Lead and develop local and regional Field Service Engineers and Supervisors, fostering a strong safety culture and service mindset

Plan and optimize regional resources, coordinating cross‑regional support only where specialized expertise or peak capacity is required

Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and compliance with global EHS and quality requirements, while feeding field learnings back into global organizations
Your Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline

10+ years of experience in field service or service operations within turbomachinery, power generation, or rotating equipment

Proven leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary field service teams

Strong background in outage execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Experience with regionalization, localization, or operating model transformation is highly desirable

Strong safety leadership, customer focus, and cost‑ and risk‑aware decision‑making skills
