Our broader Compliance team sets the compliance strategy and monitors and manages the specific areas of risk exposure across the business to provide the Board and the group鈥檚 executive team with assurance of the group鈥檚 ongoing compliance with its regulatory obligations and policies.
The Market Conduct Compliance team is responsible for the provision of advice and guidance to the business on regulatory and procedural issues, with particular focus on conduct of business and application of relevant Rules and Regulations. This includes identifying regulatory developments, analysing and interpreting new regulations, managing relationship with the regulator(s)/Exchanges/TSO鈥檚, updating regulatory policies and providing advice, delivering Compliance training and providing Compliance expertise for key business projects.
We are now looking for a Compliance Market Conduct Advisor to join our Compliance team to be based in our Head Office in Oslo.

Ensure compliance with the Statkraft鈥檚 regulatory requirements under REMIT, MAR, Exchange & internal rulebooks

Build and maintain a thorough understanding of exchange, transmission system operator & regulatory environments, relevant rules and regulations, technologies and systems, and operational processes

Assist with requests for information and/or investigations from various stakeholders

Focus on delivery of the Statkraft Compliance Plan, including adapting and developing this to meet changing requirements

Take accountability and ownership for specific areas of the Statkraft Compliance Plan

Provide compliance guidance and training across all business lines

Support and advise on breach prevention, detection and escalation in physical & financial markets of both external rules and internal compliance policies

Incident follow up in conjunction with internal & external stakeholders

Knowledge of the energy industry

Working understanding of Nordic Day Ahead, Intra Day & ancillary markets

Contribute to and support the team鈥檚 efforts to deliver on its compliance objectives
