Why this role exists
We are looking for a** system engineer** to support the integration and validation of e‑bike system components. This role is ideal for a curious and motivated engineer who wants to understand how multiple electronic components come together to create a reliable, high‑performance e‑bike system.
Where you will contribute
System Integration (Your Core Focus)

Support integration of electrical and electronic e‑bike system components, such as sensors, control units, connectivity modules, auxiliary electronics and cable harnesses

Assist in defining system requirements based on product management inputs.

Help evaluate supplier solutions and their compatibility with the overall e‑bike system.

Support assessment of new technologies for future e‑bike applications.

Support the team in building and maintaining in‑house development and test platforms.

Contribute ideas for creative, user‑focused system solutions.
System Validation & Testing

Support system‑level validation activities (standalone system and complete bike).

Assist with integration testing and evaluation of third‑party components (HW & FW).

Work with mechanical and software engineers to identify issues and support fixes.

Support the quality team in defining test scopes and test cases.

Assist in field issue analysis and coordination with suppliers and customer service.

Document lessons learned and contribute to best practices and system guidelines.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with:

Battery & charger system engineers
-
Motor and HMI teams
-
Quality, software, and mechanical engineering

Learn how to coordinate topics across system boundaries without owning every component technically.
What you need to succeed

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

First experience in product development (internships, thesis, junior role).

Basic understanding of embedded systems and vehicle electronics.

Interest in system validation and integration.

Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, BLE, USB

Structured, motivated, and willing to learn in a fast‑moving environment.

Good communication skills and team spirit.

English required; German is a plus.

Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%).
