Manage infrastructures (warehouse, forklift, etc.) and resources (manpower, transport company, and transportation resources) necessary for logistics center operation in an optimal state and discover and perform improvement tasks for efficient operation plan establishment and productivity enhancement according to the materials mobilization plan.
- Maximize the operational efficiency of logistics resources and enhance customer satisfaction with logistics services by managing the appropriate inventory of the logistics center and establishing a warehousing and shipping plan based on the volume of materials mobilization.Key Responsibilities

Manage the team, in cooperation with temp agency where needed, to ensure the work is executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsible for daily steering and development to the assigned employees, by using f.e. the quarterly performance review tool.

Work according to work instructions and the applicable SOP鈥檚 (Standard Operation Procedure).

Reporting on discrepancies between set targets and the achieved results to warehouse supervisor.

Follow safety and cleanliness procedures.

Ensure that the goods are available for shipment in the right place, in the right condition and on time (including picking orders, assembling orders and preparing them for shipment).

Contribute to improvements, use daily meeting at LEAN corner to share and contribute to the organization.

Correct registration of goods and/or documents.

Assisting warehouse operators during peak times in the operation.

Drive and stimulate the team to ensure that the set targets are achieved.

Ensuring an optimal working environment and a motivated team.

Identify and report bottlenecks in work processes.

Provide input for job clock/time registration corrections.

All other common activities.
Requirements
-
MBO work and thinking level
-
At least 1-3 year within logistics/warehouse
-
MS Word and Excel at basic level
-
Verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English

Social skills such as motivational and corrective capacity to gain support from employees and to manage them;
-
Forklift, Clamp and Reach Truck certificate and EPT or the willingness to obtain them
-
Working experience as Warehouse/VAS Operator
