Handle tax & accounting documents and keep financial operations on track

Ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements

Prepare VAT returns, statutory filings, and audit-ready reports

Monitor data flow between SAP and billing systems and reconcile discrepancies

Support Senior Accountant and audits with accurate information

Cooperate with Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

Take ownership of specific accounting areas (fixed assets, accruals, intercompany)

Contribute to process improvements and implementation of new accounting procedures
Requirements

University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting

Communicative level of English and fluency in Slovak language

MS Office skills: Advanced (Excel in particular)

Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and responsible approach
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP or other accounting systems is a plus

Deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes

Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures

Strong teamwork and communication skills
