About the job
The Global MDM Process Expert plays a key role in shaping, managing and safeguarding Opella’s master data landscape. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, security, and strategic value of master data across all our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) domains.
Your work will directly influence data‑driven decision‑making, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the success of global analytics initiatives across Opella.
Main responsibilities

Develop and implement best‑practice master data management and governance strategies across CHC master data domains.

Monitor, define, and analyze KPIs to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance at global and local levels.

Oversee MDM processes performed by operational teams, providing guidance, standards, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Establish and drive Opella’s global data governance framework, ensuring strong data owner and data steward engagement.

Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align master data strategy with Opella’s broader strategic plans.

Define and implement policies related to master data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in partnership with Information Security.

Lead insights and analytics derived from master data to support strategic decision‑making and unlock business value.

Develop data procedures, policies, and data stewardship practices to ensure sustainable data quality, protection, and accessibility.
About you

Strong experience in master data management, data governance, or data strategy, ideally within a global environment.

Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks, operational standards, and cross‑functional data processes.

Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights that drive business impact.

Knowledge of MDM or Data Governance tools and familiarity with data privacy or regulatory requirements.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.

Degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
