Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Site Management Team of Philips at the Best Campus. In this role, you contribute to projects and initiatives that directly impact the campus, the organization, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will fulfill a dynamic and versatile role in which professional project management is combined with stakeholder management, organization, and continuous improvement. You are responsible for initiating, leading, and delivering projects within a complex environment involving both internal and external stakeholders.
A fixed component of the role is the organization and coordination of local events, both small-scale and large-scale. These include, among others, meetings with internal teams, management, external stakeholders, and partners. You are able to switch easily between tactical project steering and hands-on execution. In addition, you actively contribute to Continuous Improvement by translating lessons learned from projects and events into structural improvements in ways of working, processes, and collaboration. Due to the nature of the role and the intensive collaboration with stakeholders, physical presence on the Best Campus is required for a minimum of three days per week.
Your role:

Lead and coordinate projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.

Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, including business teams, management, and subject matter experts, to ensure smooth project execution.

Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government bodies and public organizations, while navigating politically and administratively sensitive environments.

Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and local events of varying scale, ensuring effective preparation, execution, and follow-up.

Ensure clear and proactive communication, including stakeholder alignment, progress reporting, issue escalation, and decision-making support.

Identify project risks, interdependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization, and take timely corrective actions where needed.

Contribute actively to Continuous Improvement initiatives by optimizing processes, strengthening collaboration, and improving project delivery methods.

Work in a structured, results-oriented manner while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and act as a connecting factor between teams, organizations, and partners.

Demonstrate proactive ownership, independence, and strong organizational and planning capabilities throughout all project phases.

Support mobility-related and public-sector-oriented initiatives with awareness of governance structures and stakeholder interests.
**You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience: **

Minimum 5 years of demonstrable project management experience at bachelor’s degree level.

Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, IPMA, PMI) or equivalent demonstrable experience supported by concrete examples.

Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Proven experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Affinity with government organizations, experience working with public authorities is considered an advantage.

Affinity with mobility-related topics is considered an advantage.

Experience with or strong interest in Continuous Improvement methodologies and practices.

Organizationally sensitive with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
