Job Description
As Product Industrialization Engineer, you are the representative of product industrialization in multi-disciplinary teams responsible for best in class transition from development to manufacturing.

To develop and improve processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems within the PDLM cycle, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes, specifically related to the production area of Cabinets within IGT-S.
You are responsible for
As Product Industrialization Engineer, you
-
Participate in the product design process to ensure new products, being introduced in context of New Product Introduction, are optimal designed with assembly, process validation and testing processes in our Factory Best in mind.

Design production processes for these NPI’s, and perform technical risk assessment of these using methods like pFMEA.

Are accountable for writing process and Manufacturing Requirements, based on Product Specifications and Test Requirements from R&D.

Coordinate development, sourcing and installation of related equipment and tools, according these requirements.

Proof suitability of the selected processes and equipment for production of Medical Systems by means of equipment and process validation.

Prepare, execute and report pilot and Process Performance Qualification runs to release processes and equipment for production start, and provide support during ramp-up until hand-over to regular production.

Are accountable for manufacturing BOM and routing Master data until release to shipment and for PDLM ruled changes.

PDLM-driven design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers and their implementation.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor or master’s degree in in industrial eng., Electr eng, Mech Eng or equivalent.

5 years’ experience in similar role.

Experience in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects.

Sound knowledge of equipment qualification and installation, as well as with statistics to proof these.

Experience with process validation (pMap, pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ) as well as pFMEA, and SPC.

Expert knowledge of the assembly process of cabinets within IGT-S. Knowledge of assembly process IGT-S is preferred.

Expert knowledge of the test equipment used within cabinets. Knowledge of test equipment within IGT-S is preferred.

Preferably experience with Lean Manufacturing.

Self-propelling.

Continuous improvement mindset and a result driven and quality driven approach.

Strong personal & communication (English) skills.
