Department Profile
Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending. Position Description:
This is a senior-level IT infrastructure coordination and system integration role in a mission-critical banking environment. The position is not a traditional operations role and not a pure project manager role. Instead, it sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, security, and cross-team technical coordination.
The role requires strong infrastructure knowledge combined with the ability to review, validate, and coordinate infrastructure changes across multiple specialized teams in a regulated core banking environment.
Technical Environment
Core banking system supporting approximately 1 million customer accounts on a vendor product
High-availability, multi-datacenter setup
Regulated financial environment with strict security and compliance requirements
Ongoing and planned infrastructure initiatives, including:
Performance optimization and monitoring
Security hardening (e.g. encryption in transit, network segmentation, firewall rules)
Regular, planned failover between data-centers
Implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical coordinator and system integrator across multiple infrastructure and implementation teams
Plan and coordinate infrastructure-related activities between the vendor and implementation teams
Ensure alignment and consistency across network, server, virtualization, and security domains
Maintain project-level technical oversight, ensuring that infrastructure implemented correctly and cohesively
Serve as a key technical point of contact for infrastr Required Experience and Skills:
Core Requirements
Senior-level background in IT infrastructure
Strong system integrator mindset
Solid experience with physical servers
Experience with networks and firewalls
Linux systems knowledge and scripting experience
Proven experience operating or supporting mission-critical systems
Experience working in project-based environments such as infrastructure migrations or datacenter transformations
Nice to Have
Experience with hierarchical, non-relational data concepts
Comfortable working with enterprise / legacy technology stacks common in banking
Prior hands-on operations experience
Exposure to project management-type responsibilities
Participation in security hardening or compliance-driven infrastructure projects
Experience in regulated or financial environments
Working Model & Additional Information
Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in the office
Occasional planned after-hours work for migrations, cutovers, or failovers
