About the job
This role forms a vital part of the Head Office companies’ finance team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and effective management of the group’s holding and treasury entities. The management accountant will support core accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all reporting activities. Working closely with Group legal, tax, treasury and the reporting teams, the role helps maintain strong financial controls, supports consolidation and audit processes, and ensures that intercompany transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to build specialist knowledge in group accounting and treasury operations while playing a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial information at the centre of the organisation.
Job Goals

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for holding companies and treasury entities, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

Accounting Entries: Prepare accounting entries for holding companies’ activities, including investment transfers, intercompany loan movements, equity contributions, and dividend distributions.

Intercompany Coordination: Coordinate with other group companies to resolve intercompany mismatches.

Consolidation Support: Support the monthly consolidation process by proposing group consolidation adjustments to the group reporting team.

Audit Support: Assist in external and internal audit processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient process and implementation of audit findings and recommendations.

Reconciliations: Perform necessary balance sheet reconciliations.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Education/Primary Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s/University degree or similar experience in a related field.

Member of a professional accounting body (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA, OROC, OCC, or equivalent).
Knowledge and Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an accountant or in an equivalent role. Previous experience with OneStream/Maconomy is a plus.

Audit training and industry exposure are advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.

Good knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.

Comfortable handling key relationships with external finance parties and service providers.
