Job Overview
Provide high-quality technical and general accounting support in alignment with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and applicable statutory reporting standards (e.g., local GAAP). Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting business unit objectives.
Essential Duties

Prepare and post journal entries in SAP and perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations using BlackLine

Support the preparation of statutory trial balances and local GAAP adjustments; collaborate with external providers on the preparation of statutory financial statements

Ensure the timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP close processes in accordance with IQVIA policies and deadlines

Perform intercompany reconciliations and prepare ad hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders and management

Support the annual statutory audit cycle and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) return process, including interaction with external auditors

Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements; provide support during internal audits

Manage payroll-related entries, accruals, prepayments, lease accounting, and support vendor invoice and payment processes in coordination with central teams

Collaborate regularly with local finance partners, project managers, and internal tax teams to ensure alignment and accuracy

Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency; actively contribute to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; experience in complex general ledger accounting is an advantage

Hands-on experience with SAP Finance modules

Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
