Your opportunity
At Huhtamaki, we’re seeking a strategic finance professional to partner with our Procurement, and IT teams to optimize working capital, drive process excellence, and deliver insightful FP&A reporting. This pivotal role blends financial expertise, innovation, and impactful collaboration—empowering you to transform financial practices across our worldwide operations. This role reports into our Senior Manager, Group Reporting, and will collaborate with and support diverse stakeholders, including Procurement/IT leadership, Global Finance & Global Process Owners.
Where you’ll be
You will be located at our Espoo HQ in Finland and should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. This is a primarily in-office role, with the flexibility of one remote day per week.
What you'll be doing
**Procurement:**
-
Tracking procurement delivery, aligning with segment finance of actual P&L impact.
-
Supporting procurement to improve DPOs and working capital, working with Treasury and implementing with category team and suppliers.

Procurement cost center reporting, budgeting and cost control.

Finance partnering with our Procurement leadership team, supervision of team responsible for other functions.

Responsible for managing and optimizing the working capital in co-operation with Huhtamaki's business segments to improve liquidity and enhance cash flow. This role involves monitoring and controlling key working capital components such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
IT:
-
Cost control of our ERP transformation program and close collaboration with the project team

Cost control of IT costs, managing segment allocations and the IT estimate process.
**FP&A:**
-
Facilitating a Huhtamaki Reporting Strategy together with relevant stakeholders.

Contributing to the development and execution of budgeting and forecasting processes, tools and best practices.

Developing and maintaining process documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.

Defining process KPIs to continuously monitor and improve process performance.
**Other tasks:**
- Month and quarter-end reporting activities.
What you’ll bring to the role

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

5+ years’ experience in progressive finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting processes.

Subject matter expertise in the Finance / FP&A process area.

Prior business controlling experience from a similar role, partnering with a Procurement or IT function (desirable).

Project management skills with experience leading and working in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of industry best-practices and continuous learning from external sources.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a global, matrixed organization.

Change management experience.
