The Opportunity
We are looking for a for a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer/Technician to join our team at Hitachi Energy.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to manage the installation and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) substation primary equipment. It involves executing and finalizing commissioning activities in line with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
How you'll make impact

Execute commissioning of HV/MV substation equipment (e.g., circuit breakers, disconnectors, GIS)

Coordinate with site teams and support installation activities

Ensure documentation is updated and lessons learned are shared

Support project risk assessment and customer acceptance

Provide technical support to sales and training to customers

Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
Your Background
-
At least 2 years of experience with commissioning or installation HV substation
-
Technical education in Electrical Engineering

Experience with HV/MV substation equipment commissioning

Strong technical and organizational skills

Ability to work independently on-site and communicate with customers

Communicative English and Romanian
-
Driving licence
