The **RTR Team Leader **will perform within the Aptiv values and culture: with a one team approach and a passion for results you will develop your team to think and act like owners of our Aptiv business. Your role:
-
Lead a team of RTR employees in daily work activities – assign and review quality of work.

Areas of responsibility within RTR include but are not limited to fixed assets, general accounting, month end close, reporting, journal entry processing, BS reconciliation, banking, factoring, intercompany reconciliation, leasing.

Responsible for providing support in financial aspects, accounting transactions, analysis and reconciliations across multiple areas;
-
Ensure GBS activities are properly monitored and controlled. The processes are performed on timely basis and according to SOX, US GAAP, Local GAAP requirements.

Ensure that metrics and targets are met.

Manage teams through regular performance meeting in line with agreed metrics.

Monitor of monthly productivity per individual addressing non-performance, under/overload.

Follow Work from Office vs Home policy engaging team to work from the office.

Develop and manage work planning, resource allocation, skill matrix, back up procedures and staffing requirements to ensure coverage at all times.

Support continuous improvement activities and improve standardization & effectiveness; involve team members in to the projects supporting people development.

Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and followed.

Take part in center events: town halls, QBRs, meeting with business, CRS initiatives, promoting Aptiv core values and supporting to grow Aptiv/GBS brand on the market.

Promote talents in organization.

Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance.

Your background:
-
Professional experience within accounting area 3+ years.
-
Experience in team management 1+ years.
-
Higher education in Accounting, Finance or Economy would be an asset.

Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
-
Strong relationship and business partnering skills.
-
Very good organization and delegation skills.
-
Proactivity and ability to take initiative, decision making.
-
English.
-
SAP knowledge.
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
